G.K.Y.A.M.': Adie drops new single following Wish Music Awards victory

Fresh from taking home two trophies from the 8th Wish Music Awards, singer-songwriter Adie released a new single titled “G. K.Y.A.M.”

“G. K.Y.A.M.” — an acronym term for “Gusto Kita ‘Yan Ang Mahalaga” — is inspired by those who lost their hopes in executing what they could offer to someone, so they admire optimistically.

Produced and composed by Adie and Franz Sacro, “G. K.Y.A.M.” is a new wave type of O.P.M. pop that brings eargasm and joy to those who love this type of music.

Released under O/C Records, the track is Adie’s first single this 2023, following the massive success of “Mahika,” his collaboration with ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ 2nd season grand champion Janine Berdin.

As it led, it hit several music hit charts, especially in the latter part of 2022, including music platforms such as YouTube and Spotify.“Mahika,” now with almost 90 million streams on Spotify, was hailed as Wish Song Collaboration of the Year.

Adie’s other award from Wish is the Wishclusive Contemporary Folk Performance of the Year for the song “Tahanan.”
