Actress Dina Bonnevie blew her birthday cake with a simple reminder to her guests: cakes are to be eaten and not to be pasted on other people's faces.
In a video clip uploaded by ALTStarMagic on Twitter on Jan. 28, Dina stood beside a waiter who held her birthday cake as guests greeted her. Moments later, the actress blew the lighted candles on her cake.
Dina, who is currently seen in the comedy series "Kalye Kweens" on TV5, thanked the server for holding her birthday cake.
"Hindi kita papahiran ng cake. Pasasalamatan kita," Dina told the unidentified male server as the guests laughed. Dina turned 62 on Jan. 27.
Then Dina added: "Thank you so much for the cake. Cakes are to be eaten and not to be pasted on other people's faces."
Just recently, social media superstar Alex Gonzaga-Morada went viral after she smeared cake icing on the server, during her birthday celebration.
Netizens described her behavior as insensitive, saying it wasn’t funny at all when she put an icing on the face of the waiter.
Alex has apologized to the waiter for her behavior.
Dani Barretto, who uploaded the video of Alex smearing cake icing on the waiter, has also regretted sharing the video. She also apologized to her close friend Alex.
Several months ago, Dina opened up about a female newcomer who arrived very late on the shoot of their television series.
Dina did not identify the newcomer but some netizens believed she was referring to Alex. Both stars were part of a television series in the past.

In December, Alex said in her podcast that she was traumatized by a veteran star who lashed her because she was late on the set. Alex did not identify the veteran star but some netizens believed she was referring to Dina.
