Marcos invited to UK for King Charles' coronation

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has been invited to go to the United Kingdom for His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation.

This was bared by UK Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils, who said Marcos will be getting an invitation anytime soon.

“We’ve already sent him the 'save the date',” Beaufils said in an interview with CNN Philippines on Thursday night.

The diplomat said Marcos has the option to go or not, but UK “wants to see” him there.

If he goes to UK, there are a lot of things the British government would discuss with him, including investments, Beaufils said.

This is because the ties between the two countries are “growing” and “expanding,” she added.
