As one of the most prominent music groups in the 70s, APO Hiking Society brought out the magic of music through their songs.

APO’s Jim Paredes and Boboy Garrovillo and other icons of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) will be performing at an all-star Valentine concert entitled “All Heart” to be held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Plenary Hall on Feb. 14, Tuesday, at 8:30 pm.

Other OPM icons who will join for a night of romantic reminiscing are Neocolors’ lead singer Ito Rapadas, Afterimage frontman Wency Cornejo, and Roselle Nava and Raymond Lauchengco.

During an intimate press conference last Wednesday, Boboy shared that despite not having Danny on stage, he still misses his voice whenever they perform.

"Actually sa totoo lang yun ang pinakanamimiss namin, yung makapal na boses ni Danny, kaya ngayon whenever we perform kailangan namin lakasan yung boses namin," Boboy said.

They added that they would perform a song called "Quarantine Baby," written by the three of them during the pandemic.

"We have a special number that we composed during that time; only Danny has done it live," Jim said. "We have so many memorable performances with Danny. We perform everywhere; there was also a time that we performed at a wake in Japan at 4 am, the dynamics that we have as a group will always be there."

Danny passed away in October 2022 due to his prolonged illness. Jim and Boboy admitted that they were still not ready to open up about Danny's demise.

"Even though we expected it, masakit pa rin, and we were kind of depressed pa rin," Jim added.

The duo also mentioned that they planned to make a tribute concert to Danny later this year.
