Three priority targets and 23 other individuals were arrested in a series of anti-drugs operations in Quezon City, police announced on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Brig. Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III said suspects Crisanto Dagdag, 54, listed as No. 8 and No. 9 station-level drug priority target; Jennifer Meligrito, 41; and Liezel Alpajaro, 49, were arrested at No. 28 Road 5, Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City, at about 8 p.m. on Jan. 24.
Confiscated from them were five grams of shabu valued at P34,000.00, a small aluminum case, and the buy-bust money.
On the same day, police also nabbed Renante Versoza Justo, 28, listed as No. 10 station-level drug priority target; Kristal Cano Macabata, 33; Edgardo Sarmiento Palejo, 43; and Celeste Canda Nunag, 42, at about 7:20 p.m. at No. 194, ACF Subd., Brgy. San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City.
Six grams of shabu valued at P40,800, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money were seized from them.
Police also apprehended Reynaldo Mulles Villen Jr., 41; Ryan Ray Florentino Azucena, 35; Elsa Parohinog, 43; Ellaine Flores Sevilla, 33; Jerome Teodoro Lanot, 33; John Paul Cruz, 36; Alex Tumala, 32; Gerald Rivera Estrella, 30; Randolp Blanco Braganza, 39; Dennis Madrid, 49; and Privado Consulta Jr., 54.
Operatives of Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) arrested Antonio Garagal, 50; Rolly Adimas Altaya, 33; Antonio Garcia Abuda, 23; Juditha Ampo Agta, 53; and Darwin Rosillon Rotap, 42, on NIA Road, Brgy. Pinyahan, Quezon City, at about 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 25.
Meanwhile, members of the Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14) arrested Remand Madelo, 31, and Cedric Sapalaran, 22, at about 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 25, at No. 90 Adelfa St., Metro Heights, Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City.
The District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) under Police Maj. Hector Ortencio arrested one alias Larry, 52, in front of a house at No. 0489, Block 4 Pook Daan Tubo, Brgy. UP Campus, Quezon City, at about 2:20 a.m. also on Jan. 25.
Confiscated from him were 11 grams of shabu valued at P74,800.00, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while additional charges for violation of Art. 151 and direct assault for suspect Cruz; and Art. 155 and Art.151 for suspect Tumala.
