Urgent Open Letter to His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. Seeking Immediate Revocation of PPA AO No. 04-2021

Several stakeholders in the maritime industry, from business groups to truckers, shipping lines, exporters, and supply chain managers, have written an “Urgent Open Letter” to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., asking the “immediate revocation” of the Philippine Ports Authority’s (PPA) additional container monitoring system.

The top officials of 17 stakeholders signed the open letter to the President, warning him that implementation of the PPA’s Administrative Order No. 04-2021 “will end up derailing your Administration’s economic recovery efforts”.
