Work hard, play hard, indeed!

Following his last concert in 2008 at the same venue, the three-grammy award winner Ne-Yo filled up the Big Dome with exciting energy for his fans last Monday night.

As the lights went dim, Ne-Yo opened the show with a fan favorite, "Miss Independent." The crowd went wild and sang along as Ne-Yo and his backup dancers performed the song.

Announcing his come-back concert last year, the concert's promoter Willbros Live has added a second show due to popular demand.

The loudest cheers were heard at the concert as he followed his opening number with another fan-favorite, "She Knows.'' After that, Ne-Yo took some time to greet his fans.

"Beautiful people of the Philippines, what's up! You all sang good tonight," he said.

Aside from singing his classic hits "Closer," "Sexy Love," "Beautiful Monster," and "One In A Million," Ne-yo also performed songs from his new album entitled "Self-Explanatory."

While performing one of his hit songs, "So Sick," the singer shared how that song became a massive part of his career.

"For those who don't know, that song is 16 years old today, and it's been a good life," Ne-Yo shared.

As the concert went on, Ne-Yo pumped the audience as he performed "Let's Go," "Give Me Everything," and "Let Me Love You."

Also present during the first show were former Binibining Pilipinas queens Nicole Borromeo, Roberta Tamondong, and Gabrielle Basiano.

Among the celebrities present during the second show were Maine Mendoza, Arjo Atayde, and Catriona Gray.
