ISABELA -- Police authorities are in search of a Cessna 206 plane which went missing on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24.
The single-engine aircraft with tail no. RP-C 1174 was said to be bound for Maconacon on Tuesday.
Initial report from the Police Community Affairs and Development Group Cagayan Valley said that the aircraft failed to land in Maconacon, Isabela on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, a local radio station reported that the Cauayan City Airport Police has confirmed that there was missing aircraft.
“May nawawalang aircraft na umalis sa Cauayan Airport kaninang pasado alas-2:00 ng hapon at inaasahan sanang lalapag ng alas 3:00 ng hapon sa Maconacon airport ngunit hanggang ngayon ay wala pang namomonitor ang mga otoridad (An aircraft that left Cauayan Airport around 2 p.m. went missing after failing to land at the Maconacon airport by around 3 p.m.),” the radio report said.
