The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced the arrest of individuals included in the most wanted person list on Monday, Jan. 23.
Police identified one of the suspects as Eduardo Loma Jr., 22, listed as the No. 2 Station Level Most Wanted Person of Talipapa Police Station (PS 3), a resident of Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City. He was arrested at Saint John, Pingkian, Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City at about 12:15 a.m. on Monday.
Loma Jr. has a pending warrant of arrest for three counts of rape, sexual assault, and acts of lasciviousness.
Also arrested was John Carl Claravall, 22, a resident of Brgy. Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City. He was arrested at No. 625 Biglang Awa Compound, Brgy. Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City at about 6:30 a.m. on Monday, for frustrated murder.
Meanwhile, a certain Joshua Manongdo, also included in the most wanted list, was nabbed at No. 167 Ulna St., Brgy. West Fairview, Quezon City at about 6:20 a.m. on. Monday, for malicious mischief.
QCPD also said a total of 14 individuals were arrested in their latest operations against all forms of illegal gambling in the city.
“Hinding-hindi mapapagod ang inyong kapulisan upang matunton ang kinaroroonan ng mga taong may nakabinbing kaso. Dapat nilang pagbayaran ang pagkakasala sa batas (The police will never get tired to trace the whereabouts of people with pending cases. They must pay for their crimes). We will find your whereabouts no matter what it takes,” said QCPD director Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III.
“Gayundin ang patuloy naming pagpuksa sa iligal na pagsusugal na maaaring makasira ng buhay kapag ang isang tao ay nalulong na rito (We will also continue to eradicate illegal gambling that can destroy the life when a person),” he added.
