Two brothers yield P88,000 worth of shabu in Negros buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY -- Two brothers were arrested in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, Jan. 18, after raiding police seized 13 grams of shabu worth P88,400 during buy-bust operation.
The target of the raid were the Hiponia brothers - Dennis, 46, an e-bike driver, and Danny, 42, a fisherman, both residents of Barangay Guinhalaran.
Dennis is a listed street level individual, while Danny is a newly-identified individual, according to the police.
The siblings allegedly sold shabu to a police agent for P1,600 during the transaction, based on a police report.
Drug charges are being readied against the suspects, who are detained at Silay City Police Station.
