Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital in Bacoor marks 13th year with new building


BACOOR CITY, Cavite – The Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital (STRH) inaugurated its fifth building, named Sen. Ramon B. Revilla Sr. Building, on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The inauguration ceremony was held in time for the hospital's 13th-anniversary celebration.

Present during the event were Sen. Bong Revilla Jr., Department of Health Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire, Cavite 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla, Agimat Partylist Rep. Bryan B. Revilla, Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, and STRH Chief of Hospital Dr. Ruby Ephraim M. Rubiano.

The late Revilla patriarch was the one who donated land for the hospital, formerly known as the Bacoor District Hospital.

In a Facebook post, Sen. Bong Revilla mentioned that funds had been appropriated this year for additional facilities at the STRH, including a dialysis center, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine, and a 2D echocardiography machine.

Revilla said he and his family will work to make STRH one of the best hospitals in the country.
