The inauguration ceremony was held in time for the hospital's 13th-anniversary celebration.

The late Revilla patriarch was the one who donated land for the hospital, formerly known as the Bacoor District Hospital.
In a Facebook post, Sen. Bong Revilla mentioned that funds had been appropriated this year for additional facilities at the STRH, including a dialysis center, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine, and a 2D echocardiography machine.
Revilla said he and his family will work to make STRH one of the best hospitals in the country.
