K-pop idol group ENHYPEN made their fashion debut on Jan. 15 by attending the Prada FW 2023 Menswear Collection’ show at Fondazione Prada in Milan, Italy.
As the only South Korean artists present, they became the first K-pop boy band to have all members attend an overseas fashion week.
The members graced the show individually styled in casual pieces such as black jackets and denim.
On entering the venue grounds, they were welcomed by a crowd of media as well as local fans who had eagerly anticipated their arrival.
ENHYPEN were spotted enjoying the show while interacting with not only Prada’s co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, but also global celebrities including Daniel Caesar, Louis Partridge and Kentaro Sakaguchi.
In response to the enthusiasm of thousands of fans on site, Italy’s national TV news program Tg2 dubbed ENHYPEN “one of the most followed boybands on the planet”, while local media such as Corriere Tv and PANORAMA also acknowledged the band’s attendance at the show.
In the ‘Prada FW 2023 Menswear Collection’ review by Vogue, the fashion magazine highlighted the buzz surrounding ENHYPEN, calling the band’s presence “another substantial material reality to negotiate” and their fansbase “a force of nature whose enthusiasm raised the roof.”
The ‘Prada FW 2023 Menswear Collection’ show was also simultaneously live streamed on ENHYPEN’s official social media channels. The livestream attracted roughly 130,000 viewers worldwide proving their undeniable influence as rising stars in the global fashion scene.
ENHYPEN will be returning to Osaka for the “ENHYPEN World Tour: Manifesto in Japan” on Jan. 21 and 22 to hold their first solo dome concert.
