AirAsia Philippines has re-opened its Kaohsiung, Taiwan service in time for the Lunar New Year festivities.
“Our return to Kaohsiung, The Harbour City, signals an auspicious and positive welcome to the year of the Rabbit," says CEO Ricky Isla.
"Before the pandemic, this route and Manila-Taipei had immensely contributed to our growth with its consistently high traffic demand, especially among leisure travelers and overseas," he added.
The Manila-Kaohsiung flight departs via the NAIA Terminal 3 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 4:45 pm and arrives in Kaohsiung 6:45 pm.
Its return flight leaves Kaohsiung International Airport at 8:15 pm and arrives at NAIA T3, 10:00 pm.
AirAsia Philippines, which was recently awarded as among the World’s Safest Low-Cost Airlines, is also set to open its Tokyo route next month.
"We look forward to reopening more international routes and air travel in the Eastern Region of Asia,” according to Isla.
AirAsia is welcoming the Lunar New Year with the January Festival deals which offer P1,812 one-way base fare to Kaohsiung and other international destinations until 29 January, and are available for travel until 31 July 2023.
The budget carrier flies to 15 domestic destinations and 15 international destinations as of April 2022.
