Police arrested three foreigners for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a Chinese woman in a condominium complex in Pasay City.
Gen. Rodolfo Azurin, Jr., chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said the operation that led to the arrest of the three suspects in Bacoor City in Cavite also resulted in the rescue of the victim.
He identified the suspects as Jianbo Wang, Jun Huang, and Yupeng Zhang, all holders of Chinese passports.
In his report, Police Regional Office 4a director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr. said the operation stemmed from the complaints of the friends of the victim about the kidnapping incident.
The suspects were then traced to be in St. Mary homes Subdivision, Brgy Molino 4, Bacoor City.
Seized from the suspects were a van, three handguns, a grenade, a knife, cellular phones and a laptop, duct tape which was used to restrain the victim and various identification cards.
The three arrested suspects are now under the custody of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group and face criminal charges.
