In one photo, Jin is seen in pain as his face is washed with water after undergoing CBRN training.

Korean media reported that the photo was taken after Jin came out of the chemical and biological room.

Under this training, soldiers are tasked to wear gas masks and enter the chemical and biological room.

The room is filled with tear gas and the soldiers are instructed to remove the cylinder of their gas mask or remove the gas mask completely. The tear gas causes burning and stinging sensation.

Korean news reports stated that the trainees learn how to carry and wear gas masks in order to develop personal protection skills on the battlefield. The gas room training is aimed at removing fear and cultivating confidence among soldiers in such situations.

In another photo, Jin is seen undergoing grenade training. It showed Jin throwing a grenade.

Jin enlisted on Dec. 13 at the 5th Infantry Division and is undergoing five weeks of basic military training. After training at the boot camp, he will be assigned to his own unit.

He will be discharged on June 12, 2024.
