Jerom Lastimosa will return to Adamson for his final year, the school announced on Tuesday, Jan 3.
The 5-foot-10 combo guard is eyeing to win a UAAP title for the last time in his collegiate career.
"King Falcon Jerom Lastimosa has opted to stay in San Marcelino and play his final year with the Soaring Falcons," the post on Adamson University's Facebook page wrote.
Lastimosa, who steered Adamson to its first Final Four appearance in four years, braved a right foot injury in the second half of the tournament.
After the semifinal showdown against the eventual champion Ateneo, the 24-year-old Lastimosa kept the lines open as offers from overseas league presented themselves on his doorstep.
The Mythical Five member has ultimately decided to keep the pro rank waiting for one more year and take the last flight with the Soaring Falcons in Season 86.
