Lone bettor bags P19.5M Megalotto 6/45 jackpot prize

A single bettor bagged the P19,503,337 Megalotto 6/45 jackpot prize on Monday evening, Jan. 2, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.

The winning combination for the said draw was 04-26-38-15-34-17. Apart from the lone jackpot winner, 11 second placers will take home P32,000 each. The 893 third placers likewise won P1,000 each, while the 16,977 fourth placers will receive P30.

To claim their prizes, winners are required to go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong and present their winning tickets along with two valid identification cards. Prizes above P10,000 are subjected to 20 percent tax pursuant to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.

According to PCSO, prizes that were not claimed within one year from the date of the draw “shall be considered forfeited.”

Meanwhile, in the same summary of draw results, PCSO bared that there are still no winners of the whopping Grandlotto 6/55 jackpot prize of P123,065,224.80.
