ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Two suspected members of a criminal syndicate were arrested here Thursday, Sept. 8.
Police identified the suspects as Rodel Tubo, 32, and Elmario David, 42, tagged as members of the Balyeho Sydicate.
The suspects on board a motorcycle in front of a bike shop at around 12 noon when police spotted them.
Lawmen discreetly approached the suspects but they were noticed. One of them drew a gun which failed to fire and police retaliated, wounding the suspect who was taken to a hospital.
His companion fled but was cornered after a brief chase.
Recovered at the scene was one Taurus 9mm pistol with a loaded magazine.
Suspects are now under the custody of the Angeles City police for documentation and proper disposition.
The Mabalacat police under Lt. Col. Abrahan Abayari, acting chief of police, vowed no letup in the campaign against crime to ensure public safety.
