K-pop group Seventeen completes 'Be The Sun' North American tour
K-pop boy band Seventeen wrapped up the North American leg of their “Be the Sun” world tour in 12 cities.
Seventeen held their last show in the US on Sept. 6 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
They started the North American leg with a show in Vancouver, Canada on Aug. 10 followed by concerts in Seattle (Washington), Oakland (California), Los Angeles (California), Houston (Texas), Fort Worth (Texas), Chicago (Illinois), Washington, DC, Atlanta (Georgia), Elmont (New York), Toronto (Canada) and Newark.
At the Newark concert, Seventeen performed “HOT,” “March” and “HIT,” showed their musical versatility as they split into units for “Moonwalker,” “Imperfect love,” and “Back it up,” and displayed energy through “Left & Right” and “Very Nice.”

Fan chants led by the band and the fans alike accompanied the performances throughout, bringing the arena together for the quintessential K-pop experience.
As they finished the concert, Seventeen said, “Through this tour, we were reminded of how much love we receive across all the barriers of distance and language. We had so much fun, so we hope you are also taking away a lot of energy tonight.”
“We are going to work on new music based on memories from this tour, so please look forward to it,” said Woozi.
While on tour, Seventeen also had other milestones. A GarageBand Remix Session featuring Seventeen’s first English single "Darl+ing" was launched in August.
They also made their in-studio debut on US television on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and released a new version of their latest single “_WORLD” with Anne-Marie.
To top it off, Seventeen became the first K-pop artist to take home the Moon Person for PUSH Performance of the Year at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
From North America, Seventeen will be touring Asia this month and October followed by Dome Tour in Japan.
