GMA: 'Beware of fake news'

GMA has issued a disclaimer following reports that it is supposed to release a statement relating to the alleged breakup of Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero.

On Instagram, GMA shared an art card bearing the said claim deeming it "fake news."

"Beware of fake news, mga Kapuso," their caption read.

It added, "Hindi totoo na maglalabas ang GMA ng statement tungkol sa nasabing issue."

Note that rumor about Heart and Chiz supposedly having already split has been going around for quite some time now.

It started after netizens noticed that Heart removed Escudero as surname on her Instagram account.

Adding fuel to the fire was Heart's revelation that she's going through "personal struggles."
