As the headline suggests, Apple’s Watch Ultra is hyperfocused on your outdoor activity. According to Apple, the Watch Ultra can endure extreme weather conditions, meaning, supposedly, you can take it to go hiking in an icy mountain and will still be alright.

The new Ultra watch is rugged and features a larger design for more durability. It also now has the new Action button. This is a customizable button for switching modes like workouts and the new backtrack, which makes it very convenient while outdoors as you wouldn’t have to swipe around too much.
Apple says, under a low power setting, the Watch Ultra can last up around 60 hours. And 36 hours on normal power usage. Even at low power setting, you can still use the Ultra to monitor your heart rate and use GPS.

Apple also said the Ultra is also certified for scuba diving up to 40 meters. And when submerged underwater the Ultra launches an app to show you time, depth, and temperature, which honestly sounds something really cool.

There are three bands for the Ultra. These bands serve a higher purpose than looks. Each of them are designed for specific sporting conditions. The Trail is designed for runners, since it’s lightweight. Alpine is for security with a strong fastener, which is probably needed when making climbs. And the Ocean band stretches and features a tubular design to make it easier to use while in the water.
