Stepped-up search for 5 men reported missing in Pampanga ordered

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Mayor Crisostomo Garbo has ordered the police to intensify search and asked the public to help locate five men reported missing here by their relatives in August.

Garbo on Tuesday, Sept. 5, met the parents and relatives of Finest Nathaniel Mendoza, 37; Nomer Gonzales, 59; Jonjon Flores, 28; Alexander Euperio, 45; and “Warlie” and assured them of this city’s assistance in finding them.

Mendoza, Gonzales, and Flores are from here while Euperio is from nearby Angeles City.

The victims were reportedly taken by armed men in civilian clothing at the Pineda Compound in Barangay Dau on Aug. 21.

Garbo noted that regardless of the reason behind their disappearance, justice must prevail and that they must be found.

“Huwag po masyado mag-alala. Ang pamahalaan po ng Mabalacat ay nasa likod ninyo at hindi po tayo titigil sa paghahanap (Do not worry. The city government won’t stop until they are found),” Garbo said.
