PH posts 1,750 new Covid-19 cases

The Philippines on Wednesday, Sept. 7, recorded 1,750 new cases of Covid-19.

Based on the Department of Health’s (DOH) Covid-19 tracker, the number of people who are still sick with Covid-19 nationwide was at 22,899.

Metro Manila still recorded the highest number of new cases in the last two weeks with 9,082 infections, followed by Calabarzon with 4,254, Central Luzon with 2,747, Western Visayas had 1,429, and Davao region logged 1,412.

The national total caseload stood at 3,896,541, the DOH said.

The total number of those who have recovered from Covid-19 was 3,811,475. The death toll was at 62,167.
