First-ever BGC Coffee Festival brewing this weekend

Arts and bikes paired perfectly with coffee

Coffee lovers are in for a real treat as Bonifacio Global City hosts its first-ever BGC Coffee Festival on September 10-11 at Bonifacio High Street South on 28th Street, near the Jordan Store.  It’s not just about coffee culture.  Art buffs and biking enthusiasts too will find a welcoming place in the celebration.

Pop-up cafes from cherished brands like Because Coffee, Nespresso, Luntian by Luna, Knotty, 24 Bakeshop, El Union, La Marzocco-Yardstick Coffee, and many others will dot Bonifacio High Street South.  Visitors can look forward to free product sampling, brewing, and latte art demonstrations, to name a few.

The BGC Coffee Festival packs non-stop activities from morning to night and  includes the Philippine AeroPress Championship Competition, the country’s qualifying event for the World AeroPress Championship that will be held in Canada this year.  Last year’s Philippine Brewers Cup Champion will give a brewing demo. 

All-vinyl DJ Honey, Diego Mapa, and the live musical performances of August Wahh, bird., Ena Mori, and Party Pace will headline the entertainment on the first day. The second day will see fireside chats on a range of topics like Philippine coffee production, Café Culture, Coffee Science, Art and Cycling.  It will also feature the Latte Art Throwdown, an event where baristas compete, head to head, pouring out their best latte art in front of spectators.
