CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Five policemen were awarded by the Police Regional Office-Cordillera on Monday, Sept. 5, in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet for intercepting suspected marijuana valued at P14 million on Friday, Sept. 2, in Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong presented the medals, assisted by Director Editha Puddoc of the National Police Commission (Napolcom)-Cordillera, Brig. Gen. John Chua, PRO-Cordillera deputy regional director for administration, and other members of the Command Group.
The “Medalya ng Kadakilaan” or PNP Heroism Medal were awarded to Lt. Col. Dinulong Tombali, Lt. Ruben Balanoy, Lt. Reygualdo Martinez, Staff Sgt. Daniel Andomang, and Corporal Percival Baygon of the Tabuk City Police Station for manning a checkpoint that resulted into the arrest of a high-value drug personality transporting 126 marijuana bricks and four tubular form dried marijuana weighing 118, 270.80 grams with a Standard Drug Price of P14,192,296 onboard a white van.
