PH-Indonesian border delimitation strategy applicable in West PH Sea dispute — Marcos
JAKARTA, Indonesia—The Philippines may use its strategy on border delimitation with Indonesia to manage its dispute with China over the West Philippine Sea.
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said "it is worthwhile to explore at the very least" the Philippine-Indonesian strategy, considering that both countries "came to a conclusion and we came to a resolution."

"So we should try it. Now, hopefully it works," Marcos Jr. told reporters here before as he concluded his first ever state visit.
"If it doesn't work, we'll try something else, but at least we have a beginning point. That's how I see it," he added.
During his meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Marcos Jr. said they talked about security and defense arrangements.
He said he was particularly "very interested" in the delimitation talks between the Philippines and Indonesia, which managed to establish a baseline in their maritime border.
"'Yan parang template, para doon sa (That's the template for the) delimitation talks sa continental shelf that we are undergoing now. But also, not only for the issues between Indonesia and the Philippines, pero sabi ko, pwede kong gamitin ‘yan (But I said we can use that template)... We should show it to the rest of ASEAN as an example, that it is something that actually – it can be done," he said.
