Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano demonstrated her own way of cooking delicious “pancit bihon”.
Rubiano posted on her official Facebook page a video showing her secret in preparing delicious pancit, which she usually serves to her family and relatives during ordinary and special occasions.
Rubiano said her secret ingredients are tinapa (smoked fish) flakes, sun dried tomato, basil leaves, and the tomato paste.
The mayor was joined by chef Joanna “Jab” Avila Bulawin when she demonstrated her way of cooking pancit bihon which she called “EMIs (Espesyal at Masarap Ito) pancit”.
Rubiano said using basil leaves and sun dried tomato in cooking pancit is very much healthy.
The mayor said she did not study in culinary school, but she loves reading cook books during her free time so she could experiment on recipes she wants to try for her family.
