P2-M 'shabu' seized; 2 high-value individuals arrested in Cavite buy-bust

IMUS CITY, Cavite â€“ Authorities confiscated over P2 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pasong Buaya II here on Saturday, Sept. 3.

Two high-value individuals (HVIs) were nabbed during the operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 4A.

The HVIs were identified as Asnihaya Mimbalawag, 20 years old, and Naif Ampuan, 20 years old, both residents of Marawi City.

Authorities seized three pieces plastic sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride weighing more or less 300 grams and with an estimated value of Php 2,040,000.

The operatives also confiscated 85 pieces of one thousand peso bills and one five hundred peso bill used as buy-bust money.

The suspects are under the custody of PDEU and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
