28 suspects, P239,000 illegal drugs seized in Baguio from Aug. 1 to 31

BAGUIO CITY – Police here arrested 28 drug personalities and seized shabu and marijuana worth P238,998 from Aug.1 to 31.

According to Col. Glenn Lonogan, police chief here, 21 buy-bust operations were conducted in which 19 high-value individuals and nine street-level individuals were apprehended.

Twenty cases were filed in court against the suspects for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Lonogan commended operating units for their relentless efforts to suppress the supply of illegal drugs and make Baguio a narcotics-free city.
