PSC provides Covid-19 vaccines to athletes, coaches, employees

The Philippine Sports Commission, in partnership with the Department of Health and the City Government of Manila, provided vaccination booster shots against Covid-19 to athletes, coaches and employees at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Almost 400 athletes, coaches and employees received booster shots, as the government sports agency remains vigilant in its fight against the disease.

Among the athletes and coaches were those from baseball, canoe kayak, karate, rowing, table tennis, judo, kurash, gymnastics, taekwondo, water polo and diving.

“Our athletes, coaches, and employees who serve them need to be secured, protected and cared for as we begin transition and the return of our sports activities and events,” said PSC Chairman Noli Eala.
