Man killed in Indang, Cavite shooting incident; suspect, arrested

INDANG, Cavite – A man was shot dead by a relative of his wife in Barangay Banaba on Monday, Sept. 26.

Indang Municipal Police Station (MPS) identified the victim as Rando Val Siega, 31 years old.

On the day of the incident, the victim was reportedly at the terrace of the house of his father-in-law when the suspect, Razon M. Creus, 55, shot the victim several times and fled on foot.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Authorities collared the suspect in a hot pursuit operation and recovered a .38 caliber firearm in his possession.

Creus is now in the custody of Indang MPS for further investigation.
