Police said Monday, Sept. 26, that 105 families composed of 401 individuals were evacuated in Nueva Vizcaya due to typhoon “Karding.”

A report from Nueva Vizcaya police chief Col. Dante Lubos said they are staying in various evacuation centers in the province and relief goods have been distributed to them.
Lubos has ordered municipal police chiefs to continue monitoring water levels particularly in flood-prone areas affected by Karding.
All roads and bridges in the province are passable, except Malico Road in Malico, Santa Fe going to Pangasinan and Antutut provincial road in Kasibu.
Two lanes are closed in the Antutot section of the Bambang-Kasibu-Solano Road at Kilometer 266+900 due to landslide.
There is road clearing operation in Ambaguio and Kasibu.
Work in all public offices in Nueva Vizcaya was suspended on Monday, Sept. 26.
Provincial and municipal disaster response teams remain working round-the-clock even after Karding has moved away from the country. The province reported moderate rainshowers on Monday.
