Pia Wurtzbach celebrates 33rd birthday with a stunning photo shoot

The former Miss Universe channels Marilyn Monroe and Barbie

If we are going to list the best Filipino fashion muses, we bet Pia Wurtzbach will land at the top of anyone’s list. From billboard ads to red carpet sightings to magazine shoots, the former Miss Universe proved that she is definitely a woman with a great passion for fashion. As she turns 33 this month, the beauty queen celebrates it in style with a stunning fashion shoot. 

With the help of photographer BJ Pascual, stylist Perry Tabora, hairstylist Renz Pangilinan, makeup artist Mickey See, and overall fashion creative Eldz Mejia, Pia brings to life her first-ever birthday shoot. Call her materials girl as Pia dons Marilyn Monroe’s signature pink ensemble in the movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” which was recreated by the Queen of Pop, Madonna. In another set, Pia becomes Barbie, mirroring the iconic doll's first looks complete with the ‘50s ponytail look and its sunglasses accessory. 

“It’s really my dream to become a Barbie,” Pia says. “When I was a little girl, I used to play with Barbies. And now that she has grown up, she dressed as one.
