Waitress yields P40,000 shabu in Baguio buy-bust

BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested a waitress and seized suspected shabu valued at P40,000 in a buy-bust operation here on Friday, Sept. 23.

The City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Baguio City Police Office identified the suspect as high-value individual Sheena Bermudes Domingo, 26, of Lopez Jaena, Aurora Hill, here.

Col. Glenn Lonogan, city police director, said the suspect's behavior related to his sale of illegal drugs was monitored for a long time until the buy-bust operation was conducted.

A piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 5.99 grams worth P40,732 was recovered from the suspect, along with 21 P1,000 bills and the boodle money used in the transaction.

The operation was witnessed by Prosecutor Philip Cesar Castel and Barangay Captain Jefferson Cheng of Barangay AZCKO.
