PDEA: 11 drug suspects fall, 2 drug dens dismantled in Zambales raids

Eleven drug suspects were arrested while two drug dens were shut down in separate anti-illegal drug operations that started Thursday night, Sept. 22, until Friday morning, Sept. 23, in Subic, Zambales, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said.

In the first operation, six suspects were arrested by PDEA and local police inside a drug den located in Barangay Calapacuan around 11:40 p.m.
The operatives seized 19 grams of shabu worth P131,000 following the arrest of alleged drug den maintainer Alexander Aberia, 23; and cohorts Kimberly Quintino, 30; Edgardo Montilla Jr., 44; Mike Berto, 60; Joven Domulot, 29 and Martine Panganiban.
At 2:00 a.m. the following morning, five more suspects were nabbed in another alleged drug den in Barbagay Matain. Authorities seized 16 grams of shabu valued at P110,400 from the suspects.
The arrested suspects in the second operation were identified as alleged drug den maintainer Baby Dabon, 58; Louie Ferreras, 47; Harold dela Cruz, 22; Ruel Maninang Jr., 25 and Hansel Silao, 43.
The suspects face charges for violations of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
