'Okay ka, Ferry ko:' Bacoor LGU, MMDA discuss Bacoor-NCR ferry barge project

BACOOR CITY, Cavite – Mayor Strike B. Revilla announced that a ferry barge project connecting Barangay Sineguelasan to the National Capital Region (NCR) would soon become a reality.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Sept. 22, Revilla said he met with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Carlo Dimayuga and MMDA Traffic Management Division Head Dir. Noemi Recio to discuss the project.

The ferry route is expected to help ease heavy traffic flow between Cavite and NCR.

The MMDA also offered assistance to Bacoor City as it continues to update its traffic management plan.

Revilla said the city is now in the process of drafting a memorandum of agreement for the ferry project.
