Five drug personalities busted in three buy-bust operations in Baguio, Abra

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- Five drug personalities were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Baguio City and Abra on Sept. 20.

Gen. Mafelino Bazar, director of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera, identified the drug suspects as Ivan Estillo, 36, Michael Galano, 37, Richard Narbonita, 37, Krystle Villafranca, 36, and Philip Billedo, 37.

Estillo and Galano were arrested by the operatives of the Baguio City Police Office after they sold one sachet of shabu weighing more or less 4.42 grams with a standard price of P30,056 while another sachet of shabu weighing 2.69 grams worth P18,292 was confiscated from their possession.

On the other hand, Narbonita was arrested by the operatives of Baguio CPO after he sold one sachet of shabu weighing 0.34 grams worth P2,312 during the buy-bust operation in Barangay Guisad.

In Abra, the operatives of Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested suspects Villafranca and Billedo after selling one sachet of shabu weighing more or less 0.16 grams (P1,088) and a separate sachet of shabu weighing 0.30 grams (P2,040) were also found from them.

Markings and inventories of the pieces of evidence recovered were done on-site in the presence of the suspects and witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ), media, and barangay officials.

The suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought into the custody of the concerned operating units for documentation and proper disposition.
