500 beneficiaries graduate from 4Ps in Laguna

STA. CRUZ, Laguna – Graduates of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) were recognized in Pugay-Tagumpay Ceremony at Laguna Sports Complex on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

During the ceremony led by Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, Gov. Ramil Hernandez, and other officials, 500 beneficiaries from the 3rd and 4th Districts of Laguna received certificates for graduating from the program.

According to the 4Ps Implementing Rules and Regulations, graduation marks the "improvement of the level of well-being of poor households from survival and subsistence to self-sufficiency towards their eventual exit from the program."

In a Facebook post, Hernandez said he is happy that the Department of Social Welfare and Development program has provided his less-fortunate constituents with an opportunity to improve their quality of living.
