How a company values its relationship with its clients is key to creating and maintaining brand love. Providing good products and services is one thing but without strong and trusting connections, customers may find it easy to reconsider and look for other providers – those who make an effort to go beyond transactions.
“At Globe, it’s important for us to show our clients that we aim to build relationships with them that can last decades. We want to make them feel valued through memorable experiences, apart from providing them with seamless customer service,” says Issa Guevarra-Cabreira, Globe Telecom Chief Commercial Officer.
She further explained that customers feel more valued when service providers get to know them better and help them achieve their goals not just through products and services but through exciting privileges as well. Such is evident in its Globe Business GDay, which consists of grand celebratory initiatives for its loyal customers in relation to the company’s 917 GDay Everyday event.
The enterprise arm of Globe Telecom kicked off its annual festivities with the distribution of customized donuts to select customers. To make things extra special, Globe recently invited key clients and their families to its Globe Business EK GDay, an exclusive event at Enchanted Kingdom (EK), which, apart from free entrance, featured various activities such as photo booths, raffle draws, food, and merchandise from the likes of Samsung, Philippine Airlines, Unilab, Pharex Health Corporation, Petron Corporation, Shakey's, Nestlé, San Miguel Corporation, NutriAsia, Generika, and Sodexo.
EK GDay isn’t just about celebrating with Globe’s customers. The company was able to raise funds for The Hapag Movement – an initiative led by Globe along with Ayala Foundation, Caritas Philippines, Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines, and World Vision Philippines that aim to alleviate hunger, as well as provide a livelihood to impoverished Filipinos.
“We’ve given participants Wizard Money which they can use to buy food and merchandise. Unused Wizard Money was collected and converted to monetary donations for the Movement. We also sold 917 shirts and products, with a percentage of the proceeds donated,” shares Raymond Policarpio, Vice President for Business Strategy and Marketing for Globe Business, Enterprise Group.
He added, “Globe Business is not only a trusted partner in ICT solutions but also a reliable partner who understands every enterprise customer’s needs as they navigate an ever-changing digital economy. Our alliance with enterprises goes beyond business transactions. Along with ensuring that they get the best services and solutions, we also prioritize fostering relationships with our customers that are built on wonderful experiences.”
