Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez has thanked the Congress for supporting the proposed 2023 budget of the Office of the President (OP).

"We express our gratitude to the esteemed members of Congress for supporting the proposed 2023 budget of the Office of the President," Rodriguez said in a statement.
Members of the Congress swiftly terminated the budget deliberation on the proposed budget of the OP for 2023 on Friday, Sept. 2.
The budget deliberations only lasted for seven minutes without questioning from the congressmen.
Rodriguez assured the lawmakers that with the proposed budget, the OP will meet the expectations and and hopes of the Filipino people.
The OP has a P9.031-billion proposed budget under the National Expenditure Program (NEP).
"In line with the expressed instruction of his Excellency, President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., you can be assured that the Office of the President is here together with you in meeting the expectation and hopes of more than the 112 million Filipinos which the President now leads founded on a solid foundation of more than 31.5 million votes more or less in promoting the people’s welfare and upholding the interest of the nation," the Executive Secretary said.
“Parliamentary courtesy” was cited in the termination of the OP's budget delibaration. However, the OP's allocation can still be questioned by House members during the plenary debates on the eventual GAB.
