Police net Mandaue City's most wanted

CEBU CITY – Police arrested on Thursday, Sept. 1, the most wanted person in Mandaue City.

The Mandaue City Police Office identified the suspect as Renante Saladaga Tunacao, 45, of Barangay Maguikay, Mandaue.

Tunacao is wanted for rape, said Brig. Gen. Roque Eduardo Vega, Police Regional Office-Central Visayas chief.

Tunacao has a standing warrant of arrest for rape issued by Presiding Judge Joe Noel Codero of the Regional Trial Court Branch 84 in Mandaue.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Vega said that the police pursuit to track wanted persons will remain relentless.

“Wherever you hide, we will make sure that we will eventually catch you. I congratulate the Mandaue police on the successful operation against wanted persons,” Vega said.
