Ivy Lacsina cuts UAAP stint short, joins F2 logistics

Ivy Lacsina will no longer return to the National University for her final playing year.

The 22-year old middle blocker signed with F2 Logistics and will make her professional debut in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference in October.

The Cargo Movers made the announcement on Twitter on Friday, Sept. 2.

Lacsina was part of the Lady Bulldogs’ Season 84 sweep and played a key role in their title run which saw them beating the De La Salle Lady Archers in the finals.

She was also not included in the pool submitted by NU in the rebranded Shakey’s Super League.

At F2, the 6-foot-1 player will see action alongside former national team standouts Aby Maraño and Majoy Baron, and will be handled by head coach Ramil de Jesus. (Nikole Javier)
