Ryza Cenon shocked over six-figure water bill

"Ano kami may carwash?"

This is what actress Ryza Cenon wrote on Facebook along with the picture of her previous and latest water bills that jumped from four to six digits.

The shocked star said: "10pm-4am nawawala na ng water samin. Tapos ang hina hina ng tubig namin from 5am-9pm. So paki explain Maynilad Water Services, Inc. from 1,101.02 last month ngayon 120k?!!!?????"

The water and wastewater services provider of cities and municipalities that form the West Zone of the Greater Manila Area in the Philippines has to it.

"Hi Ryza. Salamat sa inyong pakikipag-ugnayan sa amin upang macheck ang inyong account. Patuloy na makikipag-coordinate ang aming Zone personnel sa inyo ukol dito," it's comment read.

Meanwhile, many netizens shared their two cents.

Some suggested that there's most probably a leak somewhere in the water line going to Ryza's house and she should have it checked immediately.

Others related that Ryza could report it to Maynilad or just turn off all of their faucets and then check the meter.

This is not the first time that a celebrity voiced frustration online over a high utility bill.

Some years ago, comedian Pokwang, actor Richard Yap, and actress Vivian Velez did so.
