TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. awarded medals to eight policemen assigned to this province for their notable accomplishments during a visit to Camp Capt. Juan Duyan here on Thursday, Sept. 15.

Azurin was assisted by Police Regional Office-Cordillera director Brig. Gen. Mafelino Bazar, Col. Peter Tagtag Jr., Kalinga police chief, and Kalinga Gov. James Edubba.
The Medalya ng Kagalingan (Medal of Merit) was awarded to Capt. Alexander Malasi, Lubuagan Municipal Police Station chief, and Staff Sgt. Roldan Pulgao for the arrest of the No. 3 Most Wanted Person in Lubuagan.
Lt. Col. Dinulong Tombali, police chief here, and Police Executive Master Sgt. Alapides Belgica received the Medalya ng Kasanayan (Efficiency Medal) for the successful titling of the lot donated to the Tabuk police station in Barangay Laya East in this city.
Major Lee Alvin Alinao, Pinukpuk police chief, and Patrolman Dennis Dangpason were conferred the Medalya ng Kasanayan for the successful titling of the lot donated for the municipal police in Barangay Taga.
The Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to Capt. Manuel Sabado, chief of the Tanudan police, and Police Chief Master Sgt. Celestino Pitag for the successful titling of the lot donated for the local police in Barangay Banagao.
