Football legend Karim Benzema is now Fendi's newest ambassador

The athlete will spearhead the campaign for the brand’s Faster sneaker

After being named as the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Men’s Player of the Year, French footballer Karin Benzema gets a new stylish appointment as Italian luxury fashion brand Fendi appoints him as ambassador for its latest sneaker, the Fendi Faster.

“Characterized by a classic running shoe shape, the Fendi Faster sneakers are injected with innovative details, material, and lines, combined with signature Fendi codes, in a perfect mix between heritage and modernity,” describes the brand.

The new trainers sport the brand’s FF emblem as a highlight to the mesh and technical fabric on the shoe’s upper. Continuing the branding, the FF logo can also be seen running across the back and the sole giving that innovative and dynamic look to the shoes.

The color line-up for this iteration includes white and beige with the FF jacquard in tobacco and brown, full black, and a metal-grey version in technical fabric and a bold red for a sportier effect.

Embodying the progressive spirit of the maison’s latest design, Karim makes the perfect fit as he’s known to be an exemplary player and a professional player in the game.

Aside from Fendi, Karim also works with Adidas and Jean Paul Gaultier as ambassador.
