Valenzuela City bettor wins P56.6-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

A bettor from Valenzuela City in Metro Manila bagged the P56.8 million jackpot prize of Lotto 6/42, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Friday, Sept. 16.

PCSO said that the lone bettor from the National Capital Region (NCR) correctly guessed the winning combination for the Lotto 6/42 during the draws on Sept. 15.

The winning combination for the Lotto 6/42, PCSO said, was 32 - 23 - 41 - 04 - 25 - 21 with a total jackpot prize of P56,654,977.20.

Meanwhile, 37 bettors also won P24,000 each as second prize winners. They guessed five out of the six numbers in the winning combination.

PCSO reminded that under Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax.

Moreover, PCSO said that “all winnings should be claimed within one year from the date of the draw otherwise the same would be forfeited in favor of the Charity Fund.”
