The Philippines is currently recording an average of more than 2,000 Covid-19 cases per day, the Department of Health (DOH) said on Thursday, Sept. 15.
“In terms of the average daily cases, as of Sept. 14, we are averaging at 2,201 cases per day,” the DOH said in a statement.
The Health department said that the country's case trend continues to decline.
“Nationally, we are seeing a slow continued decline in cases, with reported cases in the recent week being seven percent lower than the previous, which recorded an average of 2,369 cases daily,” it said.
The DOH reminded the public to remain vigilant despite the decreasing number of cases.
“To maintain low risk case classification all over the country, we must continue to adhere to our minimum public health standards,” it said.
