Drug pusher falls, P156,400 shabu seized in Bacolod buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY â€“ Police arrested a suspected drug pusher and shabu valued at P156,400 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Purok Malinong, Barangay 39 here on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Police identified the suspect as Wilfredo Atordido Jr., 33, of Barangay 16 here.

Lt. Joven Mogato, City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) head, said that Atordido is a newly identified individual in the illegal drugs trade.

Mogato said that Atordido was just renting a house as he was a native of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental and living here for a few years.

Mogato said they subjected Atordido to a buy-bust after they received information that he was engaged in the illegal drugs trade.

A validation was conducted until the operation was launched, he added.

Seized from Atordido was 23 grams of suspected shabu valued at P156,400.

Drug charges are being readied against the suspect who is detained at Police Station 1.
