Anne Hathaway is giving major Andy Sachs vibe sitting next to Anna Wintour

We’ve seen Anne Hathaway channel her beloved character in “The Devil Wears Prada” countless times. Andy Sachs, the aspiring journalist in the 2006 movie about the inner working of the fashion industry, and costume designer Paricia Flied have helped shaped the actress’ personal style, and maybe that is why every now and then we see Andy in Anne.

The 39-year-old actress once again is serving major Andy Sachs vibe, this time, at New York Fashion Week alongside American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. The two are seen seated on the front row of Michael Kors’ spring-summer 2023 show. Anne is sporting what looks like a black turtleneck top under a brown leather jacket, similar to Andy’s final look at the movie where she attended a job interview for a newspaper company after leaving the fictional Runway fashion magazine led by editrix Miranda Priestly, portrayed by Meryl Streep.
What makes this fashion sighting of Anne and Anna quite funny is that “The Devil Wears Prada” is hailed from a novel of the same name that was loosely inspired by author Lauren Weisberger's time at Vogue, working as Anna’s assistant. Many claimed that the character was based on Anna. But in a story by EW’, Lauren says that “nothing was based on Anna.”
For what it’s worth, Anne looks impeccably chic in that ensemble. That’s all.
