BACOLOD CITY – A woman died after she was electrocuted in front of her two children inside their house in Barangay Calumangan, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Monday, Sept. 12.

Staff Sgt. Armando Arao Jr., Bago City police investigator, said the victim, Analie Martir, 42, was electrocuted when she plugged a rechargeable radio into an extension cord.
Her children aged six and nine saw their mother fall unconscious on the floor.
They called their father who was outside their house, Arao said. Martir’s husband called for assistance and took his wife to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
